A whole year!

Daisy has been with us for a whole year already! Holy smokes!

We received her from the Faribault Animal Center, and she ended up being a surprise gift from an anonymous gifter. <3 We are grateful every day for her, and only wish we knew who to thank!

For those who don’t know, we had gone in to look at her on our anniversary (October 12, 2016). The plan was to go in, take a quick look, fawn over puppies, and then go out to dinner/movie for our anniversary.

That didn’t quite happen as planned. We DID go to the Animal Center to fawn over puppies, but instantly fell in love with the saddest puppy in the world. We ended up staying there for several hours carrying her around the store, having her fall asleep in our arms, and just falling in love with her. We decided to put her on a 24 hour hold so we could puppy-proof our space and get a few needed items.

The next morning, we got a call from the Animal Center that a gentleman had paid for our puppy. The crazy thing is, the only people who knew we had even looked at a dog were my parents. And they didn’t necessarily approve of us getting a dog, so there’s no way they would have paid for her. :O Crazy!

She really is the most spoiled dog, and we absolutely couldn’t even imagine life without her!
