Tim Quit

So Tim quit his job yesterday. I don’t mean he gave his notice, and yesterday was his last day. I mean he finally reached the breaking point and walked out.

I’m not angry or upset by any means. In fact, I’m a bit relieved. Yeah, the insurance was great, but the rest of his job was awful.

Seriously, who schedules an employee to work 4-6am, 6:30-8:30am, and then 12-2pm in one day? Then tell that same employee that starting the following week his shifts would be changing to 4-6am, and then 2:45-4:45pm because that’s when he was needed.

No, I’m not angry or upset in the least. In fact, I’m quite relieved he no longer works there.

Working 6 days a week, 2-8 hours a day (but could be 4 hours of work over 10 hours) gets old quick.

If we have learned anything over the past several years, it’s that bad bosses don’t deserve us, and there will always be other jobs.

Time to take a few days to recuperate, have some quality “us” time, and narrow down exactly what kind of companies we would like to work for.
